I've been there a few times with my 92 Mustang convertible that keeps breaking down because it doesn't get driven enough. The staff have always treated me fairly and the quality of work was top notch. I like that I can leave my car there and they will give me a ride home and then pick me back up later. It's the only place that I deal with in St. Pete.

I just moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a reputable mechanic that wouldn't cost me an eye. J.C. Automotive is the one!My car was in poor condition and I wasn't sure that it made sense to get the repairs done. They offered a clear and exhaustive diagnosis and affordable pricing so I chose to do the repairs. When it appeared that I needed further repairs done they took the hit and did it at almost no extra cost (charging me only for less than the price of the part itself no labor cost) showing a lot of understanding for my situation (If the repairs were to exceed the amount quoted it wouldn't have made sense for me to have this old car repaired). Everybody knows that when repairing old cars you are likely to run into unexpected issues. However very few people would have reacted the way they did. Top of the line (FAST!! same day!) service friendly staff they do respect deadlines and quotes great pricing free shuttle and a lot of respect for the customers concerns goals and hard-earned money. What's not to love? They earned my business for the years to come.
